(Day 21 is here. And this time, this AU is based on The Amazing Digital Circus by Gooseworx. Where its versions of Ben and Taylor are having a very sweet time with some lovable bandits.)

Many are familiar with the Digital Circus, and the misadventures its residents get into on a daily basis, but this next AU explores a scenario that's a little different, with different characters, and a different AI. The AI is named- FM, and rather than a circus that acts as a sort of overworld that the humans return to after every adventure, FM has sent its captives into barren landscapes to fend for themselves. While none of the humans need to eat, sleep or do anything they'd necessarily need to do in the real world, it was still disturbing how dismissive FM was to their existence, almost like they were pests that it hates with every fiber of its being, but would prefer to torture its human guests for as long as possible first. To top everything off- no one who was brought into the digital land could remember their own names, but they still tried to make the most of their situation.

Meet Titter- a green and purple clad jester who loves making people laugh, who's outfit turns black and white whenever he holds his breath for extended periods of time, and Bam- a german shepard with a detective coat and a tie with a familiar looking pattern, whose fur coat alternates between normal and blonde whenever he holds his breath for extended periods of time.

These two unlikely characters just happened to stumble upon each other whilst exploring the digital land, and decided it was better to travel in a pair. During their travels Titter and Bam would come across some gummy alligator characters, who were a bit standoffish at first, but it turned out that was just because they were desperately trying to get a large amount of syrup to help their village. Thankfully Titter discovered that he had the unique power to make food items to come out of hammer space, so the Gumbinos (that's what Titter called them) descided to take Titter and Bam back to their village.

One night when the group was just trying to unwind after a long day of travelling, Bam decided to entertain Chad (yellow and orange) and Max (Purple and Red) with some card magic, and it wasn't long before the candy gators warmed up to the german shepard. It was at this time that Gummigoo (yellow and green) took out a banjo and played a nice and relaxing tune for the rest of his mates, and as he played he also explained to Titter that his mother is sick, and she's one of the main people he's trying to save with the syrup, also explaining that she taught Gummigoo everything she knows.

So Titter and Bam resolved to do what it took to get back to the gator boy's village and help them out, Titter would pull a million jugs of syrup out of hammer space if he needed to, and most importantly no matter what horrible twists and turns FM threw their way, Titter and Bam had resolve to keep pressing forward, for when humanity is on its last legs and we're in the worst case scenario, what else can we do but hope, and do the best we can in the most terrible of situations.

While everyone had such a sweet time that night, neither of them were made aware of a bright star that shone up in the night sky. Yet it certainly added to the night, and was harmless enough not to be taken with caution either.
