i'd been thinking about pulling his wings off for a while, but i still wanted him to feel big and imposing without losing too much detail from having the wings. SO, i changed his tail, made it a big thick plated monster, and covered his back in weird rocky growths. i really like this look, so i'm excited to see how it improves as i draw it more :]
