Hayo! It's been another hot minute, I've kinda been busy because, ya know, Christmas.
Anyway, this here is William of Orange (not that one) who in 1688, with the help of the English nobility and around 6,000 Dutch soldiers (mostly) peacefully overthrew the catholic King James II & VII, William was then crowned as co-monarch with his wife Mary II. The Glorious Revolution was both a Dutch supported coup and an English backed invasion, it brought more Constitutionalism to the British Isles and laid the foundation of the UK's modern form of government.
