While tidying up my folders, I found an old file named 'Ramjet airship'. It used a mirror finish on the bottom half of the envelope to concentrate sunlight into a collector. The overall shape of the airship was wrong for getting light at an angle other than the vertical, but I recycled the concept for a solar-powered turbojet with a moveable collector.
