When my irl pet golden retriever was an adolescent, he used to escape the house, and he would pick up our pullets and dash down the sidewalk. The poor girls were definitely not happy about being in a dog's mouth (he never tried to hurt them tho, just liked softly picking them up.) Luckily, we trained that out of him, and nowadays he just completely ignores the chickens, and helps work as a scarecrow to keep the hawks away.

My brother's dogs were German Shepherds those boys were almost on par with Samoyed's in size. 100 and 110 lbs. An the size of the rabbits were no bigger than chicks.
Sadly, the reason they got the babies was their mother, foolishly made her burrow in their backyard. And my wife's dog blue, caught and ate a portion of her. THat was not a fun morning.
