While visiting the Koopa Kingdom, Marshall has joined a group of girl Koopas known as the Poopa Koopas, a tribe of friendly diapered Koopas led by Koopie Koo. They have decided to make the fox a Koopa too so he can join in their activities which doesn't include kidnapping Princess Peach. In fact, The Poopa Koopas has no involvement with Bowzer's evildoing against the Mario Bros.

They outfit the fox in a comfy spiked pink Koopa shell, a cute girly diaper, a hair bow, and a pair of running shoes. He might not be able to retreat into his shell or spin like a Koopa, but he sure knows how to have fun with them.
