Okay finally deciding to share this. The map for my headworld, Arcardia! This isn't the typical art you'd see on FA but hi I'm posting this anyway.
This map was done in collaboration with a friend who wanted to remain anonymous - but she did most of it.
The concept sketch was mine (general crescent shape with the archipelagos in the middle), she did the lineart and the biome map, mountain placement,
rivers, sea depth... all of that. I just traced over it and made it into pixels (cause I was really inspired by my brothers pixel art at the time lol)
and made some alterations that I'm sure would have hurt her geology nerd brain.
This map was made by her in 2021 CAN YOU BELIEVE, and I made it into pixel art (pixel by pixel kill me) early last year (2023).
Then earlier THIS year I started dev on the politics on the world. The reason this hasn't been posted until now was because I was holding out to post this for when
i have all the site info up abt the map but... lmao. its been far too long, years, and I think I should just post it.
This probably won't be the final version but! yeah!

Wow this is amazing! I like how you did this map, incorporating the different biomes and climates! Its beautiful.
I did something like this with my planet, Otacaia, but I'm not good at doing maps so I commissioned others to draw it for me. Well, commissioned is too strong of a word. More like, collaboration.
