Last month I had the honour to interview a famous artist. One of my questions concerned his role of personal development in his art - I always believed you'd be at your very best once you have learned to see everything at the end of your life. I didn't expect the artist to contradict me there. "Don't underestimate the value of the moment," he offered me instead. If you're ever discouraged by the vast distance you'll have to travel to master an art, tell yourself: yesterday you were good. Today you are at your best. Tomorrow you can be even better.
