Now, this drawing was a bitch and a half to do, not only because HOLY BABY JESUS IN HIS SWEET LITTLE CRIB, this armour was a NIGHTMARE to draw, even if I was directly LOOKING at my reference and COPYING the thing,it was difficult, and to make matters even worse, back in the day I FUCKING HATED this drawing. For me, it made no sense, it was completely out of proportion and it was ridiculous, but I did want to join the weekly themed event of the community, so I did anyway and... it turned out to be my most liked drawing at that time. I was SO confused and upset on why would people enjoy this garbage, and then I just noticed that my problem was that I was expecting more of my hands and hands had no practice, so I got frustrated. In that moment I started to watch my hurtful behaviour towards myself and my art, because I had a meltdown over this stupid armour.

The metroid creature was cute, though.
