This is the rifle that the "Howa 1500" stock was supposed to go on before it broke. I think this is better if you ask me. The school replaced the broken stock for me because it was broken on their property which was cool of them. 300 Weatherby mag a great round with a Leopold Scope.

The Stock itself is walnut of exceptional quality and was again a pre-made in the California style. This one I gave a hunter finish which came out super good and will be more detailed in future pics of this rifle. The ascents are of Rosewood with maple spacers which is what Ron used to put on all his rifles. I am really proud of the shadow line I put into the cheek piece.

Now.... the butt stock.... ug.... yea they ordered the rifle too short, it is my dads rifle and he like me and my bro have long arms and are tall needed a lot of length of pull. I had to put a 3/4 inch space in addition to a fricking huge recoil pad and it is still just short of what my dad really needs though he says he loves it.

Anyway I also redid the metal giving it a bead blast and hot salts blue finish and it came out super good probably the best BB&B I did while at the school.
