I'm glad I've been rooting for Matthew this whole time. It's unfortunate it took this kind of incident to bring about a change, but, sometimes drastic change is only won through severe incidents. Hopefully hew can get the right kind of help he needs, and the right kind of friends he needs to bring this full circle.

Well, that was a dramatic, and painful, way to get some personal growth, but it's good to see that he did indeed grow. Perhaps next time he can avoid the whole "getting his ass kicked". Still, it is a good step in a nice direction, realizing he hurt another and empathizing with the person he hurt. Now, to see where they go from here.
