Here's the head, with its new owner, who is very happy with it. (ARGH THE EYE IS CROOKED)
Maybe if enough people tell me it's not that bad, I'll eventually believe them? XP
I used a new (to me) technique on this to make sure the pattern was the same on both sides; I cut the tape pattern in half and cut out to of them. Thanks to the good people on the Fursuit LJ for the tip!

Well you hit and missed some of the points I was going to make so you're good there XD
Well I think the head itself is pretty good, even though it does contain said errors you supplied... The fur and coloring looks very good, actually, since it's just, y'know, generic husky-looking fur. It's kinda sloppy in the sense that it wasn't very accurately done, but hey, nature's like that with animal fur. The thing that bothers me most about the suit head is simply the fact that the front of the muzzle looks like it has no mouth. If you look at a dog with its mouth shut, you can see its bottom lip under the top part of the mouth.
Other than that, everything's just still kinda uneven. That's something that can be worked on through repetition and eyeballing the work, but I bet you'll get the hang of making fursuits the more you do it<3

I'm well aware of my own limitations - but thanks for the honesty, hugboxes don't help one improve, after all. :)
I made a lip out of a scrap of fake leather, but the fur ended up hiding it. XP (I think it's a bit better visible in person, though) Someday I'm going to get the hang of this!
Symmetry is my worst enemy. XP I've got an older head-in-progress that I've got to tear apart because neither the markings nor the foam beneath are really symmetrical. Someday, I will beat symmetry with a frozen carp. :D

I draw here and there, not great at it either. If you're looking to improve, I highly recommend a book called 'Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain' - it's very helpful, and has some pretty good lessons in. Other than that, just draw, draw, draw. :)
She is indeed. :)

It's not really one of those books where it shows you shapes and you draw them, it's more like, say, turning a picture upside down and drawing it that way instead of drawing it right side up. (tricks your brain into actually *seeing* the shape, instead of using shorthand)
