Oooh, neat! I especially like the Sun and Moon giving them Life and Spirit, respectively. A lot of works that I've consumed seem to associate the moon and the night with darkness and evil things. That which goes bump in the night. But Life and Spirit feel like two facets of a gem as opposed to two sides of a coin, aspects of an individual instead of polarities...
Although, now that I type that out, I suppose the analogy falls a bit flat. Gems and coins are still singular objects with multiple sides. Though, to salvage the analogy: particular facets of a gem aren't always opposite, they can be next to each other or not, it depends on the gem and how it's cut; but with coins, their sides are always in opposition.
The only one other one that stands out to me is the Stars. The other gods seem to focus on a single aspect, but, to quote: "The Stars gave them Everything". 'Everything' feels like it encompasses so much more than the others that it seems a bit unbalanced. Of course, that might be intentional, I can't say I'm familiar with your story.
Still very neat!

It is, she saved them in need, but her worship nearly collapsed their society. She is an outsider who does not belong but the mark of her worship is a trade for anything she is capable of understanding, in turn for an equal offering of flesh and blood for the effort, no questions asked, no filter or inhibition. It caused quite the cascade.
Ouch. I think I felt that one in my soul.
I've got notes and stuff going back probably 15 years from all the characters and story ideas I've dreamt up in that timeframe. So I believe I can understand throwing out a peek, and knowing that that was just the tip of an iceberg getting ready to crush them.
