i mean, the same argument can be made for most large kingdoms or other such civilizations. literally thinking of that one Monty Python joke from Holy Grail, "Well i didn't vote for you". considering modern communication and information is more widely accessible, i doubt you'd find anyone who can be whole ignorant of their nation's current leader and unable to learn it within minutes
Not quite. Death was already replaced within the time frame that we've seen in the comic. I don't think it was specified how long they've spent in Hell, but it sure wasn't 15 years (Darius mentions spending that long as Death's replacement, IIRC), for J to still remember Rhea, and not, y'know, immediately freak out at them being alive again.
1) I love we get to see Buwaro's imagining of what heaven's Cerberus looks like
2) Based on what Rhea's seen, with Death and all, I really don't blame her for being hella suspicious of this- that and, the ethics in question of being so loyal to someone you don't even know.
