Oswald Stomps is a bit of a spoiled kid, son of Marshell Stomps.
Marshell's only son, he received alot of affection and attention growing up, and was enrolled into the same Country Club as his father, taught to play golf when he was just a teenager.
He was older now, and his body was changing.
This was something that his dad noticed, in particular when his son would don lighter and lighter clothes.
Being a dad of a typical family, he wasn't super comfortable or confident about approaching his son about his sexuality, but he had his suspicions.

He would not be the only one to notice, either.
An irregularity to the Country Club, Joel would regularly deliver food to the members of the club who weren't seduced by the club's fancy food available.
Oswald was one of them, and he'd regularly order Mexican food and Hamburgers whenever he came to the club with his dad.

What was more of a regularity, would be Marshell's arguments whenever the delivery guy showed up.
Oswald would admittedly find the bickering pretty fun, as his dad would pick on the most meaningless details, which Joel would argue back with similar gusto.
There was however the issue of Joel sometimes taking alot of time returning from the club, which he'd blame on Marshell's tendency to pick a fight.
But that wasn't the whole truth, as Joel would sometimes catch Oswald's eye.
And whenever Oswald's back was turned, Joel would find himself staring a bit lower down on the bunny.
