A project I've debated uploading here for a long time. The comic is essentially a glorified Suikoden fanfic. However, you don't have to have played the games to follow the comic. It helps with some of the character cameos and the larger world history, but the focus in the story is on two characters (one of which you meet in the next page).

The Holy Kingdom of Harmonia is stricken with civil war, dividing the nation and allowing its old enemy, the Republic of Dunan, to strike at the weakened Kingdom. Yuber is a mercenary who only seems to appear in times of conflict; little is known about him, aside from the fact that he wields unnatural powers, which has led to speculation that he's a demon. He has a habit of abandoning his post when the war looks lost, which has led General Ridley (who has had the misfortune of fighting against Yuber in a previous conflict) to be a little upset that he's shown up demanding a command position.
