“Come, come, my sweet child, be not afraid. All are welcome within these hallowed walls.” Ulvi cued softly, her eyes following the shadow as it entered into her domain. A familiar figure would soon make itself known, a drolf, one she’d recognize quite readily.

“A, Shade, to what do I owe this fine pleasure?” She’d ask, her body leaning forward slightly upon her large cushion. Her chest softly pressing into her arms, as she gave a tender yet teasing smile, shifting her legs slightly to push her cloth squished thighs slightly more forward as the drolf gulped and flushed slightly at her motions.

“H-hayyy, I just thought I’d drop by. It being the ‘winter solstice’ and all, a time of celebration for all even within this particular faith. I thought I’d come to ‘pay my respects’...should that be ok.” Shade stammered, growing in confidence as he spoke and keeping his body language level as Ulvi chuckled to herself, the midday sun shining through the glass pane behind her being, causing all her scales to glisten in its soothing glow as she smiled warmly.

“I didn’t take you for the religious type, not to say I’m not grateful or will turn you away. But you always seemed so ‘pragmatic’, has something changed?” She asked softly, shifting slightly in her laying stance as her robes stretched and pressed against her frame, the fabric tightening against her sandwiched bosom as Shade meeped a bit before forcing his eyes away and scratching his chin.

“W-well you’ve been in my guild for quite a while now, being a great help in so many ways, and while it’s true in my own world I’m a bit ‘sceptical’ when it comes to higher powers, it’s a bit hard to say the same for a world like this where such worship can lead to direct action from their grace.” Shade nodded, Ulvi chuckling more at his response before giving him a curt node. She gave one more heavy lean forward against her cushion, her bust practically billowing over her folded arms as she grinned with a lidded smile down at the rapidly reddening drolf, as she let out a soft humm, before giving a nod in return.

“A fair assessment, I shall respect such explorations, and simply ask what forms of admiration you wish to express towards the great celestial bodies,” She then pauses, giving more of a smirk, before meeting Shade’s gaze with a soft glint in her eyes, “-and what has you coming to me, verses paying those respects in the main chambers.”

“W-well I umm…have a particular way I like to umm..pay respects. And given my ‘finding of faith’ is nearly entirely your doing, I thought I’d do something to the benefit of you as well! Verses just offering prayer alone.” Shade muttered, huffing a bit and mrffing as Ulvi gave a wide grin.

“Ohh? What might that entail? Do ‘enlighten’ me..” She grinned, the rays of the sun almost seeming to flare as her interest peaked. Shade meeped, but gave a small smirk in return, before stating.

“W-well, it involves you being rather bare…t-though I don’t need to be mind! If that helps, make that more agreeable.” Shade said, Ulvi’s eyes glinting as she stared at the drolf curiously. She’d then roll her shoulders softly, ‘shrugging’ while staying in the same general position, as she continued to smile and node.

“Well, if it’s truly in the name of praising the celestial bodies ‘through me’...I don’t see why I can’t accommodate that. Not like I don’t ’do it myself’ from time to time.” She snickered, before the light from the sun within the chamber began to glow that much brighter. It became almost blinding, seering to behold as Shade would pull an arm in front of his face and turn away from the growing glare, as the room completely filled with the warm light of the midday sun. It shone brightly within the room for several moments, Shade unable to hardly even try to look ahead of him, before eventually, the light would begin to dissipate.

And Shade would finally be able to open his eyes and look ahead, his pupils rapidly widening to try and re-adjust to the dimmed light. Before they began to widen for entirely different reason

HELlooooo! Been a while hasn't it?!? The holidays tend to be a rather 'filled' time, head out to see the folks, otherwise wrap the the year for work, and go into a big food comma on multiple occasions =v=. I've been taking that in stride, and focusing mostly on just resting up and 'taking it as it comes'. But, with me returning from all that and taking further time to recover from the emotional whiplash, I decided that I couldn't let the year give out without at least putting SOME writing down ovo.

So, that's what I did! My plan is to get some more writing out the door tomorrow and new years as well, but we'll see xD. Either way I'm happy with this little bit I got out. Wasn't sure what exactly I'd tie this with, as it was just mainly an inspired piece from Gwynevere's ohh so perfect stance from Dark Souls feeling like something that Ulvi would just FIT into. And by golly did  zeveth REALLY do a fantastic job translating all of it over ; v ; the stained glass being her 'moon and sun' symbols was just such a beautiful and perfect touch to it, and Ulvi herself is just divine and I absolutely adore how she turned out in her style ; v; just all the heck and gorgeous everything and I EEEE into the infinite at how amazing this all turned out. Just all the perfect bits of pressure and the pose is so good and just, aaaa ; v; I love it!

But yes, wasn't sure story wise how it would fit until I remembered the most recent holidays are all patterned around the winter solstice. And while I'm a good few days late to that, I'm still gonna make my story about that dang it! :3c fheehe. It felt fitting, and let a few other images 'slot into place' when it comes to the story, so I'm very happy with the outcome ^^.
