This is the pistol that came with the Nerf-N-Strike EX-6 Action Kit. Which is pretty much the Nite Finder EX-3, except the Nite Finder has an integrated light beneath the barrel. Boring crap I know, but this gun I actually modified internally. I removed the air restrictors inside so that when I'd pull back the slide and pull the trigger, more air would hit the dart and of course, would push it further. I never measured how far it shoots, but it has some pretty decent power/range for a nerf gun.

I recently bought a new dremel, which aided me tremendously with modifying this thing. If you compare it to the before pic (here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5935500/) you can see just what exactly I took off before paint. I did a base color of brass with nickel accents. I removed a faux hook from beneath the grip which left me with this small lip and a tiny hole. Inside the gun I threaded a length of cord through that hole, and attached it's other end to a faux laser pointer, which I attached to the gun as well. The wire was then anchored down with a piece of duct tape around the grip.

What I was really going for was an old war-torn battle pistol. Like something that's been through the ringer a few times and probably through the hands of more than a few people. Something that has a history all it's own.
