There are many mottos that I've come to hear or come to believe over the years.

One of them is: "There's always an exception to some things."

Zeta, a character by  kitora, is one of them. It took me years to sort of see the allure of muscle-gutted or characters with otherwise muscular builds yet having a rotund belly be visible, since I often go for rippling, hypermuscular things.

While there are certain aspects of Zeta that I've yet to grow fully into, his design and his openness to enjoying a good time does make him desirable to some degree - as do many of the big dragons Kitora's drawn.

Like all things in life, it's just taken some time to get used to it to look things from another perspective. Tastes in things are like tastes in foods: subjective at best, with each to their own. But sometimes when you dredge through a world full of different designs, there's bound to be at least one exception to the rule that stands out from the rest, which will be your gateway to explore something more safely after some curious inspections.

Zeta's one of those for specific reasons. Perhaps one day I'll make a proper artwork of him rather than a quick doodle like this one. Maybe even make another character entirely.
