"Ma!! EC's bisexuality is showing up agaaaaaiiinn!!", said the die-hard audience of mine who are often used to seeing me draw males only.


In all seriousness, though, there are some characters people have made that catches my attention to the point of becoming infatuations, small obsessions that come and go, only to come back again. Tieing with the "exception to the rules" thing I mentioned in one of my previous images and with the fact that as I grow older and my tastes, thoughts and feelings of things change (whether for better or for worse), it gives me a better appreciation to things that I had glossed over just because I was occupied with something more that, while in the grand scheme of things is pointless, matters a fair amount to me.

 kay-dee667's dragon mage, Ashahara (or "Ash" for short), is one of those. Something about her overall design caught my allure. Could be the long hair, could be the slender figure, hell it could even be the costume she sports that stands out.

I think the worst part about explaining these is how difficult they are to be explained - you simply have to know the feeling to get an idea and even then, it's subjective at best.

(That does lead to the opposite being true as well: sometimes you hate or dislike things for no other reasons than "they hit all the wrong buttons in me". As long as it doesn't directly influence you to be hateful or malicious to others, you're okay to have the opinion. Be mindful with whom or how you will inform that to others.)
