My personal favourites this year, in no specific order.
The vacation / break illustration was fun to draw.
Violet the Fenneck was challenging, mostly due to her bi-colored hair that is difficult to pull off with promarkers.
Drawing elephants for the first time and I needed references and power was low. Proof that classic books are still classics.
My publishing logo that I've rebranded into. I still use my old handle name here, as you can't rename yourself on FA, as of now.
Shanee King the giraffe was quite the treat to draw. I've wanted to draw giraffes for quite some time and deputed with her.
The 2024 Election comic. Politics isn't for everyone, but as a satirist, I enjoy making them and American elections are not to be missed out.
The news illustration template, which I've used more than once.
Banedjedet. It was challenging to draw four indicidual heads with no mirrors, and I finally memorized his name.
All inn all, 2024 have been quite the year for me. I've managed to push my boundries moere than once and have debuted with many animals, incl. elephants and giraffes. When it comes to the Egyptobers, I learned the existence of the god Rem who is fish themed, that I didn't know existed beforehand. I also drew Wepwawet for the first time and finally memorized Banebdjedet's name. I got a book from my brother this christmas about the Book of the Dead, the scroll that is now exhibited in British Museum. It's a very informative book featuring many gods that are new to me and it might influence my next Egyptober. The rebrand have also played an important part, as it made me design a new logo using Affinity Designer (almsot like Illustrator). My old logo was made in Photoshop without vector.
