the Yinglets in this comic are so OP compared to every other iteration of them lol (not that I'm complaining about the artist doing something different)

No, I'd say they're on par with how they're portrayed elsewhere, especially by their creator. Remember, the Yings we're following are truly exceptional individuals, all of whom are, or are destined to be, Matriarchs or Patriarchs.

The rest are all dumb as a bag of hammers, and in need of guidance.

respectfully disagree with that, I haven't seen any other portrayals of yinglets who can magically kill a man with a single look, or giant monster yinglets like in this comic.

yeah, but what about Minalasi lifting someone off the ground and imploding them into a blood singularity?

even if you don't categorize that as magic for whatever reason it's certainly supernatural and something Yinglets can't normally do I'm pretty sure

I like the implications that their enclave is based atop many eldritch landforms that are deeply concerning to outsiders but totally a fact of life to the yinglets.
