Richard and Kaga go out for drinks. Kaerwyn's climate is approximately that of Asheville NC, so it's not too brutal of a winter compared to Richard's Maine upbringing, but Kaga is from a warmer planet and poorly insulated, so...she needs extra protection from the cold.
