The Flame of Transition!



Onto the year of the snake! Unlike the year of the dragon, I don't have enough snake characters to round out the entire year. So instead, I will be designing deities for my snake species. I will do at least one a month, but if the inspiration strikes me, I may do more. And I will be drawing my two snek OCs at least once this year.

Seraphel, Also known as the Flame of Transition is the nakani goddess of death. Rather than being an evil death god, she is lawful good and helps the souls of the deceased find their way to the afterlife.



The flames that run from the top of her head to the near-end of her tail represent crematory flames since cremation is an important part of the funeral rites of many nakani cultures.
