Don't worry about being inconsistent. Your art is amazing and you're a sweetheart, so whether you post once a day, a week, a month or even just once a year, I'm just glad you're alive (and well, hopefully)! I know there will be more pressure when it comes to commissions (and anything else with money switching hands), but personally I'll just continue to look forward to whenever you post again, no matter when it ends up being. You're worth the wait, and I just want you to be well. <3
Dear Alex, since the first day I followed you here on furaffinity, I have always said to myself and repeated myself numerous times: this illustrator truly has an unstoppable passion for art, with all the characters and scenarios that are part of it. The commitment and energy you put into each piece created makes it clear to those who look at your posts (even just one), among the numerous commissions and personal comic stories there's pure simplicity and joy in the faces of those you portray. A good example are the amazing protagonists of Simple Values Comic. Many of us know too well that the life of our beloved artists is too much sometimes, they cannot be always sit in front of a screen to pump out new art. They can make a good schedule, but other stuff in their life will sadly put them in a situation like being inconsistent with drawings and art projects. I agree with the kind and supportive words written above from LostDemonHeart, my friend, your art is always amazing and you're such a precious sweetheart, even for me doesn't matter if you post once a day, a week, a month or even just once a year. The important is that you're enjoying life, drawing your fantastic pieces and be alive, when possible be here with us! Today, seeing this wonderful piece/episode of Alex and Seb together under the rain (as they talk about friendship, even meeting a new lil frog friend which is part of their own same passion for animals) it's a comic page that made me think deeply. After every heavy rain the sun always shines again, just like you will every day, dear Alex. I'll just continue to look forward to whenever you post again, no matter when the next time will be. Have a good start of the 2025 and keep up being a stellar illustrator, Mittens Sensei! 🫂😉👍💞
Oh, this is just exquisite, Mittens. The interplay between the two characters (and the frog) is sweet and beguiling. The work with all the rain colorations is remarkable in both detail and texture, you can almost feel the damp soil, the cool pond aura, and the warm rain drop. Interesting little dodge from Sebastian about Abby, almost a flirtation hint towards our heroine.
All you do is soooo worth waiting for. What you post whenever you post it is a joy and another enchantment for all of us who love your artistic genius, your narrative storytelling, your sweet and subtle character developments, ... and you. Happy ( or "Happier") New Year and take very good care of yourself.
