Here's a new rendition of my Skyrim-child Fahdonmul, who has now existed for one year, though he was still just called "the dragon" back then, when I was still struggling to control him in the game and crashing into trees. He has come a long way.
Fahdonmul is a mortal-allied dovah, who has filled in for the role of the dragonborn in their absence. Since his claws are painted black and he's wearing the band of protection, this picture is probably set after he has slain Alduin and pushed the other dragons into a ceasefire with the mortals.
The picture is based on a reference screenshot I sent DefiantDrills of him in flight - it happened to be one where he decided to look at something on the ground and they happened to like that pose best. They did a good job making his claws look polished and it makes a nice change for his wings to be pristine instead of ragged. He may be more than 7 millennia old, but I'd like to think that the tears can be healed up.
It turns out DefiantDrills is a fan of the TES games and drawing a dovah made for a fun project for them. Amusingly, DefiantDrills charges extra for tails, wings and extra limbs. The extra limb tax works in reverse so I ended up with a discount because Fahdonmul doesn't have forelegs.
