Me as a... right, so there's two concepts originating from my childhood that I'm riffing on here.
1. The An-ans are the people inhabiting a fictionally continental north pole. Back then their gimmick was being artifically cold-resistant to the point of only needing T-shirts in the cold of the North, but reinterpreting this I think it would make sense for them to be a mixture of the Arctic indigenous peoples and arctic foxes. The depicted knife and harpoon are thus based on their designs, though forged with modern metallurgy.
2. Fazertators were a class of spellcaster whose signature spells were zap, magic missile, force field, and sound wave (which healed you). My best attempt to recontextualize these disparate spells would be, like, a "phase/pressure shaman"? Solidifying air to form barriers, manipulating it in shockwaves, or causing plasma breakdowns to produce electricity.
With the new indigenous inspiration being taken it would probably make sense to figure out new names based on the actual languages of the area, but doing such a task proper justice would take a lot of research I haven't done, so I'm just leaving them with their original names for this submission.
