Because that ship is already big, even if it's small compared to ali. There's even a helicopter falling off the helipad. With the regular size estimate of 35ft for the helicopter, that fish is huge, much bigger than the megalodon could've ever been...
Sooo... ...Is that the megalodon ali got her tooth from that allows her to grow? Did that meg also have growth powers?
