THe dog hair in the house right now has the upper hand - it clogs mt Dyson in like, 5 or 6 passes. THis time of the year sucks 8-P

I bought the dyson animal, http://www.dyson.com/pets/ , and it handle all the hair/fur on the first pass. I did have to empty it twice, but it never got clogged up.

Well, clog was a bit of an overstatement - Filled fast was prolly more like it. I too have an Animal. Its a great vac, but dog hair fills it so fast.

I've got a Kirby G3. It's having it's 10th birthday this year, and only had 1 tune up it's whole life! Best vacuum money can buy...don't waste your time on those DIE-sons. lol

i also have a Kirby but it is older than a gen3. and still going strong. I got mine 7 years ago from a thrift store for $20

My Dog sheds a lot. Both in the spring and fall. Fills up the dirt cup in my Dirt Devil thats about 7 years old, and fills it up about twice or three times.
