Athene was partly inspired by Bessie Coleman and the many other lady pilots of the early days of flight. Like them, Athene longed to fly, sadly she died in an accident before she could realize those dreams.

Athene is the knight to the Prince of Owls. She is tough, determined, and, most of all, extremely stubborn. Sometimes this means she is extra hard on herself.
