Daki was once alone, having become an orphan after his egg was found at an orphanage. He never had many friends that he was able to bond with, as many either left the orphanage or were adopted by a loving family. However, he always seemed to have a fascination for the unknown, one of the few kids whose bravery would carry him through situations that would normally paralyze others with fear. Wanting to explore his dream of exploring unknown ruins and making new friends, he decided to try and apply for a position as a junior explorer that was part of a rescue team. To ensure the safety of a young Dratini like him, they paired him up with a Dragonite named Drake, who was confident and protective.
Drake would tutor him in guild missions and exploration, teaching Daki how to use his bravery and passion for exploring dungeons and rescuing other pokemon. In fact, over the course of the year Daki had spent with him, Drake was probably the closest thing he had to a parent/big brother. He always watched out for him and even shared his own life story about how he had become an explorer after dropping out of a competitive battling league, using his skills to help others navigate the world around them. At the time, he didn’t have a heart to tell Daki that their relationship would only last for another year or two thanks to his mentoring commitment to the guild he was a part of.
Despite how close the two of them were, they still had their arguments. Drake was always implementing heavy safety measures (partially due to protocol), often causing Daki to complain and pout, especially when Drake would constantly overestimate the dangers they’d be facing. Another thing that really got on Daki’s nerves was that he had just come of age when being mentored by Drake, only for him to treat him like a younger child (a problem that many adolescent and adult dragon-types faced) and underestimate his intelligence and development. Daki both loved and hated being treated like a kid…while he wished Drake would see him as a capable explorer, the constant attention and exuberance from the Dragonite gave him the chance to have a “normal childhood,” one free from the lack of attention he was given by the overburdened caretakers at the orphanage. The time came where Daki passed Drake’s ultimate (and cumulative) training test, meaning that Drake no longer had to mentor him.
Daki was devastated when Drake finally broke the news to him that he would no longer be responsible for him and no longer tutoring him on exploration/rescue missions. Drake even admitted that would adopt Daki if he could having never formed a bond with the few students he had mentored before, the Dratini feeling like a younger sibling to him. Unfortunately, his contract forbid him from extending that bond with those he had mentored, including Daki. When he had heard this, the Dratini had burst into tears as if his life itself was slipping away. Drake would have quit his job if he didn’t need the benefits that it gave him.
However, all of that changed on the last day of their training together, when they encountered an injured, yellow Mew wearing a diaper that resembled a Shadow Mewtwo. After assisting her with curing her wounds, the Mew named Angelica asked the two of them if there was anything that they wanted or desired in their lives.
“Well…I don’t want to leave Daki behind, but I still want to do some exploring.” Drake had said.
“I wish I could stay with Drake! I don’t want him to leave me behind, either…even if he does belittle me sometimes.” Daki had replied.
Unknown to both of them, Angelica had already peered into their minds and determined what they had meant by their words, causing the mischievous Mew to grin as she came up with a solution. Using her transformation powers, she transformed their reality right before their eyes before she vanished; which left the once-powerful Dragonite as nothing more than a living diaper.
Neither of them knew what to think as Daki slipped Drake onto his waist, the Dragonite a confused mess while Daki felt embarrassment creeping in. Sure, he was always wearing a diaper along with Drake, but that diaper never WAS Drake…! Needless to say, Drake wasn’t able to continue mentoring in his current position and wasn’t able to continue his job…but thankfully, he didn’t need to worry about missing out on his benefits as a diaper.
Things would be a lot different as they tried to track down that Mew that had transformed Drake. The Dragonite pamp found that they could no longer stop Daki when their intuition beckoned them; a diaper wasn’t able to make choices for their wearer, after all! To add to the humiliation, Daki turned the tables on him, embracing his childlike identity and using it as a way to tease his former mentor in his newfound form. Drake was completely at the mercy of his adventurous student, finding himself and Daki in the middle of several troubling situations…especially when Daki needed to relieve himself.
While Drake laments his infantile appearance and lack of ability on the serpentine dragon’s coils, he does feel better knowing that he can stay with his protege and now brother. Surprisingly, Drake’s new position seems to have changed Daki’s status-blocking ability Marvel Scale to that of his damage-mitigating Multiscale, making Daki much stronger! Daki may tease his brother/diaper, but he’s just proud to be adventuring and exploring with his bro with him and not able to boss him around anymore. Which is probably why he’s also been procrastinating on finding that angelic Mew goth…
Since then, Daki has formed a two-partner rescue team with his diaper partner while still trying to find Angelica Mew. I’m the process, he’s been able to befriend a community of fellow diaper-loving serpents, and has met with several other rescue teams consisting of wearers and their transformed pamps. Daki’s even heard stories about younger wearers with their family and friends as their pamps! Two stories that stand out to him are that of a Vulpix and their Oshawatt pamp cursed by a Smeargle, and a Snivy that managed to usurp her mother to become queen, leaving the Serperior diaper as nothing more than her royal advisor and royal throne.
While Drake’s life might have taken an unexpected turn, Daki couldn’t be happier with his life as an adventurer and rescue team leader. He now uses his position along with Drake to provide relief and emotional support to new TF’d diapers and their wearers, especially those who ate friends and family members to them.
All the while a yellow Mew and her Shadow Mewtwo diaper silently watch the two, the Mew silently celebrating as she pumps her fist in the air, euphoric exhilaration coursing through her.

Daki and Drake are my characters, and I drew this art of them!
Now you might be wondering, “why is this an alt?” Well…I felt that the bandana might ruin the image, but I think Daki actually looks cute like this ^w^
My friend by the name of
LuvTheBlimpable had mentioned that they wanted to see a Draitini in a Dragonite diaper, so I decided to have at it! We don’t see many snakes in diapers, let alone Dratinis.
Btw, the two stories that Daki loved so much were made by
PicketFurret and
poke5869! Figured I’d shout them out here so that more artists can check them out ^w^
Daki’s Meet and Greet list:
Ozzy and Del
Leaf and Bloom
Also be sure to check out
LuvTheBlimpable! Thank you so much for the idea, my puffy friend~ ^w^
