It was around this time I realised I would- and will as the revisions are ongoing,
have to make some addressment to my art process. Some of these pages had been months between, and I no longer have the time to devote hours and hours to each page. I am a very slow worker, which is of boon in some aspects, but is a huge bust in others.
There is something of a tone-shift here, that won't be terribly permanent, I hope. I needed to access some of those pent-up emotions both my characters had, even if it wasn't the perfect time for it in the story.

oh, this is what I expected, making a clean getaway, a short conversation, and all the years of worry and despair come flooding out and overwhelming poor Oz. Who can only feel a burden for making her worry so much. Can't be good for his trying to come out of his shell...

This was an experiment that went wrong, that last panel, more of a production error. I was using two different brush pens, one that was almost empty and one that was full. The effect sorta worked on the page, but all the little details collapsed here on the Internet.
This medium condition, particularly the online / digital realm, is something I'm getting around, I think. I move very slowly with these things.
But I'm aware of that, and I appreciate your patience all the more for it!
