what a lucky shot and he was all find with you taking that shot there and look how the normal forest brakes up into showing snow back there and on the tree :)

They indeed are!

There is this zoo that is within my driving distance where the deer can roam freely with the visitors. I visit it every once in a blue moon. And on one visit, this one buck was rather insistent on being fed. (The place sells food in edible cups for doing just that.) You wouldn't believe just how strong AND gentle that neck can be.
So, if he felt at all threatened by your presence that up and close, those antlers might be the very last photo you took.
Great photo op. The only way to 'shoot' deer, in my honest opinion.

We have a place in Ernstbrunn where you can walk around in the deer area and I could even pet some there. Their fur is suprisingly bristly ^^

Yeh I do know that there are not to be joked with ^^
If threatened they can quickly end you. But they wont do that to a fellow deer like me :3
(as I got a deer sona and my meer is to little and innocent to be of danger :3 )
