My attempt at this week's Thursday Prompt. This week, the word for the prompt was 'number'.
Per usual, please be sure to check

Going to be honest, not really happy with this one as I think it's just a bit boring once you get to the reveal but I was more than half-way through it when I decided it's kind of just lame so I committed nonetheless. Oh well, they can't all be gems.

Well, once you find the solutions, everything about the escape room is kind of like "Oh, that was it? Huh..."
Still don't think this one's all that good, but I do appreciate you saying it was decent. Thanks much for having given it a read, very much grateful for that.

I often hate my own writing. It's alright. These feelings come and go.
I am not a fan of escape rooms. I like puzzles, but not time limits. Also, if I can't solve a puzzle in a reasonable time, I will look it up online or give up. Knowing the solution is more important to me than figuring it out by myself.
I thought the writing was alright. Not every story can be the best. It kept me hooked, at least. Well written.

Well, I'm just entirely incapable of seeing anything I do as anything above total amateur but that's fine, it's still fun to make these.
I also quite enjoy a fun puzzle, but time limits do make them a little frustrating. I've only played a few escape room games myself and they were pretty entertaining save one with the most obscure and outlandish clues imaginable.
While this one could definitely use some work, I am very grateful that you'd at least give it a look. Very much appreciate that.

It's more the novelty of just doing some wacky puzzles with friends/family than the actual game itself. That said, it helps when the clues you find are not so vague as to be something utterly absurd (one game I participated in gave you the clue of an obituary and a toy revolver, the answer was to 'shoot' a portrait after turning the lights out. In hindsight, I guess that made sense, but at the time it seemed absolutely ridiculous).
Oh, I hadn't even considered ending it with one last gag like that! That could have been much more entertaining a conclusion!
Though I think this one could still use some work, I would like to say thanks much for having given it a read over. Really means a lot.

Just bring Rehv along! He might accidentally luck his way into the correct answer! That or... zero-zero-zero-zero... nope. Zero-zero-zero-one... nope. This might take a while...
I'm grateful that you'd take the time to look over this one, very much appreciate that.

I can tell you lacked motivation at the start of this one. Missing words, redundant words/ideas and the effect seemed to wear off the further you got into the piece. The remotely maddening thing about the concept as a whole was the thoughts of "why the hell would the crew make them solve a damned puzzle to escape in an emergency" and "21 minutes to seal off a bulkhead?!"
It was a damned escape room LOL
It was a damned escape room LOL
I really struggled trying to figure out how to open this one and kind of just said "well, this is good enough, I suppose." I was trying to drop hints that the situation wasn't as dire as one might think with the characters being rather nonchalant about the room filling with water and them sounding annoyed to have to solve *another* puzzle.
It means a lot that you keep coming back for these, thanks very much for that.
