Out of character.
Major overhaul of the shape of the design to bring it much closer to the design. Even gave it the iconic cap with the Nanotrasen log. Many new detailing work has been done. Moved the weapon to be shoulder-mounted based on how the original drawing had it set up.

It's got the cap on! Looking closely, you can see a "hair tuft" just in front of the cap, which could be magnets (which is how I assume the cap stays on), as the texture/color looks just slightly different than the chassis'. The weapon moving from the center of the back more towards the shoulder can help ensure Echalon can shoot forwards (and in most other directions if it can swivel) without needing to lower the head and neck first.
The muzzle also looks to have widened from the previous WIP, along with some adjustments to the body, slightly thickened. Looking at the bars on Echalon's haunches, looks to be you could handcuff someone there if need be, or being used as a mounting rack for equipment. Though I am getting a bit of uncanny valley looking at the front paws compared to the back, the design of which evokes hands with how far the "fingers" protrude before the claws extend out. May have been slightly lengthened from the WIP, but was not as noticeable tell the dewclaw, or thumb claw, was added. Maybe Echalon likes typing up reports than just uploading the information directly to a terminal.

Hey Thera favorite crewmate, NotHere03 here! I always enjoy reading your comments while you're making your station rounds.
Switching to out-of-character now—yo, it's you, one of my regular commenters who consistently shows up in the first few hours of my posts!
The iconic cap and even the hair tuft are real now, and your breakdown of every detail you notice is spot on. I really appreciate seeing people pick up on the differences between WIP updates as the model gets more refined and complete.
I totally get what you're saying about the uncanny valley effect with the "front paws"—if we can still call them paws with how much they look like fingers that can type or hold items. I double-checked the original Verkele image, and you're right: each of the three fingers is evenly sized, and even the thumb is about the same length. So yeah, the idea of it physically typing up reports actually works with the front paw setup.
