The last three days were a hell of loud construction noises, cement dust, sprayers and things totally incompatible with rest, thanks to ANOTHER summer construction planned by my parents. My schedule was completely destroyed, I slept very badly and I was barely able to draw. But it seems that at least for now it is over, and the good thing is that the main door now works normally despite the enormous pressure of the hill against the walls.
BUT (yes, here there is always a but)
Do you remember when I went to take pictures with my car at Rada Tilly? Well, when I got back, the low oil warning light came on intermittently a few times. I had already planned to take it to the mechanic, in fact, I had just gotten paid more money for that, as I posted the image in this gallery, so my dad took it to a GIRL mechanic, because I'm sure you remember the incredibly slow service of the last mechanic recommended (24 DAYS!!!!)
They are going to do a complete check-up this Saturday, but broadly speaking, there are two options:
oil pump failure, or the cylinder head. One is super cheap (barely like 35000 pesos), and the other, according to everyone, is "a lot of money". Knowing how lucky I have been in an endless combination of misfortunes, I am trying to prepare myself for the second option...
the thing is that at the moment my car is not drivable, for the safety of the engine. We will see what happens...
