ok ok, a second of seriousness. I think this joke is impossible to translate directly into other languages.
There is this poet called Giacomo Leopardi who wrote the poem "L'infinito". It so happens that this is also the term used for a verbal conjugation. So, when at school the teacher asked you "l'infinito di Leopardi" (the poem) you, as a great comedian, answered him with the word Leopardi conjugated to the Infinito
