In the latest Thea Stilton novel, "Thea Stilton and the Ghost in the Woods", the sisters are touring Ireland. They are befriended by Tara (right) and her friend Leah (left). Tara is hoping to convert an old cottage into a hostel for distance bike riders. However, the project is threatened by a rumor that the nearby woods are haunted and the poltergeist keeps sabotaging her efforts. It's up to the Thea Sisters to solve the mystery.

Well, the "ghost" turned out to be a hotel executive (Mr. Murray) who wanted the land for a golf course adjacent to the hotel. And that's where the novel ended. So I added a post script to the ending.


Bitter over being fired, Mr. Murray abducts Tara and Leah and decides to burn down the cottage - - with the two mouselets in it! So hopefully either Tara and Leah are good at escape or one of the Sisters forgot something and has to go back and find them. Otherwise the golf course just might go through.
