After being stuck in one place for so long it feels good to finally take some first steps.

Wow, this took me longer to finish than I wanted. It was inspired by a trip I took to Queensland late in 2023. It was the first break for more than a day that I had taken in two years. I find that being out in the middle of nowhere with no distractions really helps me to think.
I had aimed to get this out before the end of 2024.
Last year was pretty terrible to be honest. But despite everything that happened I finally started taking steps to improve things.

Here's hoping that 2025 is better.
