When I asked for the names of obscure species, someone said kinkajou. Back in the days of yore I was a volunteer at the SF Zoo, and held the resident kinkajou a few times. I decided to see if I could draw one of these guys from memory, since they're a rare animal that I had never seen a photograph of before / formed an impression of before, well, holding. (And letting climb onto a tree to pee. Uhh, yeah.) Since they're tree-climbers they have prehensile tails and VERY strong fingers with sharp claws. In order to prepare you for the pain of having the guy dig his nails into your neck as he scrambles to feel 'secure' in your arms, they call them "love scratches." I had a few at one point. X)
