Intertide is a department of the Caloocan public works bureau nominally dedicated to transport infrastructure projects in exurban and rural space, although through various bureaucratic maneuvers it has grown its own manufacturing wing over the decades, which has proven popular overseas. Caloocan is one of the superpowers of the ultratech Core Worlds, belonging to the FTU, the largest bloc in known space.
