I didn't think too much about it, but taurs have a big advantage in moving through the snow because of their height, as well as the ability to hold a staff or ski poles in their paws. It is interesting.
It might have been easier for them to climb the mountain too. Within reasonable limits, of course, not a steep slope and all that. Maybe... intriguingly.
