‘Here’s the rest, for now.’
“So, on Nightshade and Azure Islands we get a lot of ‘explorers’, sciencey people determined to seek out the secrets and mysteries of the islands, for various reasons. We try to warn them that’s not a good idea, but they rarely listen to us, and it can be hard to keep track of them, in addition to everything else on the islands, so, things don’t always go well for them.
A lot of them end up leaving behind these hard hats that they wear in the jungle, me and Lucia find them everywhere, all over the place, especially quicksand bogs.
Lucia had the idea that we gather them up and set them out for anyone who might want them, I suppose it’s worth a try.”
‘You really think this will work?’
'I hope so. The less people I have to talk to the better.'

From the remarkable Toughset comes this charming picture based on a silly idea me and Jurgenblue had, abit of dark humor regarding how dangerous their islands can be. ~^
This one definitely came out adorable, Lucia and Ember look so cute and charming in Toughset’s chibi style, and the attention to detail even in chibi form is very impressive. I love Ember’s raised brow uncertain look as she considers this idea, after putting up the sign. Lucia’s focused expression is great as she tries to keep the pile of pith helmets balanced is great, her tongue sticking out is a cute accent. The piles of pith helmets are rather humorous, showing off quite a wide range of damage and demises that may have befell their former owners, I love that there is one that literally still on fire. ~^ The setting and background are very nicely done, the beach looks so calm and peaceful, with the waves lapping at the sands, while the jungle beyond looks very dark and foreboding. All in all, it conveys well the many dangers of the jungle, with a cuteness and charm all its own. ^^
