Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! I've come full circle and wanted to do some more dynamic drawings again. Nothing too crazy though. Here we have the nice puma girl with her BRN-4 doing a simple reload. Eyes on the target and ready for that timer beep. She's got that gaming face on LOL. Enjoy all of the red lines!

I unfortunately don't have much to say much on the picture it self, its cool, though nothing my brain picks out. Maybe other than for some reason making me think of a simple moment my dad told me where right before a SWAT raid when they were stacking in front of the door he accidentally hit the magazine release on his rifle, like right before breaching a building where they are expecting someone dangerous, and he's the one who goes in first, though as he told me "The good thing was I was trained enough I put a fresh one in without thinking about it"
That was a lot more than I meant to write.
But one thing that does come to my mind is seeing the left over red lines, and genuinely makes me a tad curious as a person wanting to to learn art (struggling for way to long at it) about figuring out how to apply what I am seeing to help improve my own skill.

That's still a neat story! As for the red lines, the gist is I drew a bunch of cubes and rectangular prisms. That is over simplifying but that is what it boils down to.
Here is a link to Tracy Butler's tutorial of what I am essentially doing. She is the original creator of Lackadaisy and a tremendous artist that makes great use of simplifying using basic shapes.
The reason for so many long lines is that I extended the lines of the shapes so that I could future proof them in case I need it to be longer than I expected and to use as reference for other lines that are on a separate axis to keep lines and angle consistent.

It really can't be UNDER-STATED, how important it is to train how to reload (Any platform), while keeping your eyes 'On target!'
(Of course, if we're talking IRL 'Tactical' firefights, you may be behind cover as you reload, and must break that eye contact, but that's a whole different setting!).
I've been watching videos on the new rifle by Henry. It's a lever (Yay!), but uses AR mags, for those pesky hordes of pests that demand more than five/ten rounds to take care of! Of course, anyone holding a new platform is going to be fumble-fingers in the beginning, but the lack of a 'Mag well' in this rifle really had very experienced Operators taking note (And griping about it).
One reason I've never liked the 'Banana clip/30 round (or MORE)' magazines is, if you're forced into a prone position, the platform is resting on the butt of that magazine, usually to your eye-relief/cheek weld being compromised. With a full auto (Again, in a tactical situation), then sure, having those extra 10(+) cartridges can be vital, but for us Civvies?
Anyway, LOVELY Lioness rockin' that beautiful rifle!
