Is it just me, or the years keep passing faster and faster?
Art-wise, this year was not generous. My husband and I had had a lot to deal with IRL, this including the mourning after the passing away of a close family member for me, and the hospitaliation of one of my husband's family member. We've also had a terrible diagnosis for another family member. So yeah, hug tight your loved ones while you can, seriously. Life just goes too fast and is way too random not to show the people we love that we love them. I've also spent the first full year with our cat, whose favorite place to rest is between my computer and I, just right on the still warm graphic tablet ahah. How many tims did I stop drawing because she wanted to rest in my arms... But who can say no to a cat? Anyway I'll try to draw more in 2025, if life allows it.
This year I accidentally focused on shading and textures even more, to the point that I'm FINALLY, after literally YEARS or practice, reached a level a painting that actually looks like a painting rendering. Hell, I better have learned a thing or two, as I probably spent more time watching art tutorials from Marc Brunet than I actually drew pff ahah (check that guy, he taught me almost everything I know about digital art, and it's all free)
We're close to the 6K watchers here and it feels wild to think about it. I can't thank you al one by one but I can say here how sincere my feelings are: thank you for your support, it means a ton to me! We'll probably do something like a free raffle or a request box like for each big milestone, so stay around!
All art and credit can be find in my gallery with proper credits!
