"Lurgi" is a fictitious disease coined by the late great Spike Milligan. Today, it refers to ailments that don't really have a name. Like, it feels like you came down with a cold but not quite, so you caught a touch of the Lurgi. At least, that's what it means in MY house, but we are weird. :P
A long running oddity has finally received an explanation. Huzzah!
Honestly, it's a decent adaptation for keeping a character mobile in spite of a drastic increase in mass as they would otherwise become blobs and majorly decrease in mobility, assuming they could still move at all.
