Garhan bent down to the ground and pricked up his ears. Voices could be heard from behind the trees - and they were talking specifically about the beast.
People always come here looking for Garhan. Someone spread a rumor that touching his fur brings good luck (or maybe it's true?), and now only the lazy don't try to find the beast to pet him. Thank goodness that just pet...
However, even such harmless attention tired Garhan out of his mind. He didn't care about luck, he didn't care about any legends. Well, so what if he accidentally fell into this world through the fabric of dimensions - that's no reason to consider him sacred and try to paw him in droves!
Garhan shook himself nervously.
The voices were already approaching, and the beast on soft paws hurried to hide in the fog.
