I am Blind—almost
And hungry—and Poor
But I found God's Manor
And begged at His Door.
'The Tenants are here
And the Rooms are all locked.
Colour can't Visit—
You'll have to go back'
—Yet I lean to the Glass
—Yet vision is Lost
To dashes of Amber
Through pixels of Frost-
They're the aching reminder
Of the Sight I have left
—Just enough to see
I can't see Enough
And hungry—and Poor
But I found God's Manor
And begged at His Door.
'The Tenants are here
And the Rooms are all locked.
Colour can't Visit—
You'll have to go back'
—Yet I lean to the Glass
—Yet vision is Lost
To dashes of Amber
Through pixels of Frost-
They're the aching reminder
Of the Sight I have left
—Just enough to see
I can't see Enough

To be blinded, to be robbed of a vision once desired,
To be strong willed, watched as others admire,
To be these things, to grow in strength,
One must be a glutton for punishment, to climb up the ranks.
Don't let the fading vision discourage,
Don't let the frost set in.
Keep moving,
Never give in.
You may not be welcomed in that mansion above,
You may never see the fence of gold, or the angels with wings,
But the places you will see,
The people you will meet,
They are the vision.
They are what matter.
What good is a heaven above,
When we can make a heaven at home.
XD idk
I really liked the poem, amazing job as always!
