"Yester Years Amusement Park." A novel idea for an amusement/water park hybrid, really. If the water in the Fountain of Youth isn't drinkable by default, why not make a pool out of it instead? Why profit from ticket sales when you can make fat stacks through diaper sales? Of course they do distill the FoY water into (overpriced) baby bottles separate from the pool, but where's the fun in that.
Many furs across the country flock to this vacation destination for its unique opportunity to splash and shrink at the same time. Take the regression nice and easy inch-by-inch in the lazy river, or dunk yourself down the slides for a quick trip back to elementary school. The dry rides are designed to thrill both the vacationing kids-for-a-day and their adult babysitters-for-a-day, albeit with some adult-only rides as an incentive for some furs to stay mature. Naturally the water park is not restricted by the concern of needing to accommodate adults.
However, no feature of this water park is as infamous as the giant tipping bucket. Branded as the Small Maker by the park but dubbed the Pants Shredder by frequent visitors, it's not hard to guess how it got that name. Despite the park's best efforts to avoid these incidents (whether they put effort in is up for debate), many furs have profited off dares of entering the pool with a normal diaper and experiencing the "Take The Splash" Challenge.
Becoming a 'Poolpants' by taking on all the dunked water into a normal diaper is considered a right of passage by some frequent visitor subcommunities. "Have you really been to Yester Years Amusement Park without having a pool for a diaper given to you by the Pants Shredder?" they tease and taunt.
Not one to take such a challenge lying down, Jordan ventured boldly forth to earn his title of Poolpants through the sacred rite of the "Take The Splash" Challenge. Surely this would be easy, and fun! Just stand under the Pants Shredder, wait, and earn the respect of your peers!
But what they don't tell you online is...
KERSPLOOOSSHHHH!
...the massive burst of shock, embarrassment, and regression that comes right after. Can you even move, floating atop that thing?
Congratulations Poolpants, greet your true reward of the challenge: instant regret! Everyone is looking and shaking their heads... but try to take solace in the knowing grins! Now, you did read the sign and advertising, right? You made sure to bring an adult with you to take you home? Given you didn't read Rules 2, 3, or 4, I'm sure you can understand why I have to ask...
The sign reads:
Youth Fountain Pool Rules
1) All current and future occupants must be accompanied by an adult.
2) Swim diapers are required. (Pee in your pants. NOT in the pool.)
3) Prolonged exposure may cause regression. Adults be advised (Or not.)
4) The lifeguards are not responsible for changes.
5) No running.
6) No shoving.
7) Shower before entering the pool.
8) No ???
9) No ???
While everything in the image is Splatinkle’s work, the description is all my idea. 😉
This one... I think I was too shy to share it when it came out? That was around the same time I made the Crinkle Castle server so that lines up historically. It's also a Shinx devolution, and I've always been rather sensitive about that. I don't like encouraging Jordan being called a Shinx. It's a button people spam while thinking they're doing a good job teasing.
I enjoy the idea of being a "pants shredder," or a "poolpants." This continues to be a fixation for me. I suppose it's a bit like gibsonscratch being known for both him and his friends being unable to stay dry, because it's in his nature to cause that. Perhaps in the future, I'll explore that idea and build that reputation. 💦
Oh and I do plan to have a FoY water park be a Crinkle Castle encounter in the future, inspired by this image. I'll update this part if that becomes true. (There is a diving pool but that's not the same!)
I'm tagging the post as General, it's not body-related so it's just water inflation. There's a mess alt currently considered too cartoonishly hyperbolic for juveniles on FA to handle, but know it exists (BlueSky).
