New OC: Hazel Nut, the Squirrel Girl
Yeah, I said I do have plans for upcoming new characters. This might as well be one of them.
--- Hazel Nut ---
Species: Squirrel girl
Age: 26 years old
Likes: Fruit, nuts, acorns, curiosity, climbing trees, being charming with her antics, hanging out with others, talking with animals, silly stuff.
Dislikes: Certain canine breeds, being alone, loud noises, scientists
Personality: Quirky, extroverted, distracted, curious, kind of dumb, quite a chipper.
Abilities:
- Due to her squirrel anatomy, she's nimble, can hear sounds from far away, and is capable of stuffing fruit and objects inside her cheeks that can stretch out. Just in case, she can also store them on her sweaters' pouches or, if she can't store them in there, can also use her fluffy tail as well. What Hazel can't quite do, however, is to fly/glide.
- Hazel can communicate with several different animals, understanding their language for the most part. However, Hazel may not quite understand human speech or language, leading to some mistakes or mishearings.

Other Stuff:
Before she became a human squirrel, Hazel was the seventh sibling of a normal squirrel family who used to live at a park nearby. Normally, she's been having an easy life, greeting humans and charming them with her fluffiness and adorable behaviour.
Somewhere, in a science laboratory, some scientists were looking for a test subject for their latest mutated human DNA test that was never tested on. From a hole leading to the rat farm, Hazel came in through, wondering what were all those white mice doing in there, and then a hand came in to reach for one of them, picking Hazel in the process.
The mutated DNA is then injected into squirrel Hazel, who then reacted by flailing wildly and scratching the scientists before running away from the lab. After that, when she was coming back to her tree, she would then go through a transformation into a more humanoid shape and, much to her surprise, she's become an anthropomorphic squirrel girl.
Her life was gonna be different for years to come.
